How It Works

Scheduling Your Appointment

Call or text 407-223-9989 to schedule an appointment.

Once we agree on a date and time, your appointment will be reserved, and we will send you a brief intake questionnaire about your rabbit. Please complete it before your appointment day so we can prepare for your rabbit’s individual needs and make the best use of our time together.

We will also send an appointment reminder the day before your scheduled visit.

Payment

Payment is due after your grooming service has been completed.

We accept cash, Zelle, Cash App, Apple Pay, and other available electronic payment methods.

We do not accept personal checks.

Cancellations and Rescheduling

Appointments may be canceled or rescheduled without penalty when we receive at least 24 hours’ notice.

Because we reserve travel time specifically for your household, late cancellations or missed appointments may be subject to a travel fee.

Before We Arrive

Please have your rabbit indoors and safely contained before our arrival.

We also ask that dogs, cats, and other household pets be secured away from the grooming area.

A kitchen, dining room, living room, laundry room, or another clean indoor area with enough space to work is usually ideal. We will bring the grooming supplies and equipment needed for the appointment.

An adult should remain available during the visit in case we have questions about your rabbit’s history, behavior, or care.

Grooming Takes Place Inside Your Home

All grooming is performed inside your home, where your rabbit can remain in familiar surroundings.

We will not take your rabbit outdoors or place them in a mobile grooming vehicle. This helps reduce unnecessary travel and allows your rabbit to remain close to the people and environment they know.

Nail-Trim Appointments

A nail-trim-only appointment generally takes 15 to 20 minutes or less, depending on your rabbit’s temperament, nail length, and comfort with handling.

Complete Grooming Care

Our signature Complete Grooming Care service includes up to one hour of grooming time and may include:

• Brushing and Coat Care
• Eye Care
• Ear Care
• Scent Gland Care
• Sanitary Cleanup
• Nail Trim

Heavy matting, extensive sanitary cleanup, or a rabbit requiring frequent rest breaks may require additional time or a follow-up appointment. We will discuss this with you before continuing beyond the scheduled service.

Your Rabbit’s Comfort Comes First

We work patiently and at your rabbit’s pace. Some rabbits tolerate grooming easily, while others need more time, breaks, or a simplified session.

If your rabbit becomes excessively stressed or cannot be handled safely, we may pause or discontinue the appointment. We will never force a rabbit through a grooming procedure simply to complete a checklist.

Health Conditions and Veterinary Care

Orlando Rabbit Grooming provides nonmedical grooming services. We are not veterinarians and do not diagnose illnesses, prescribe medication, or provide veterinary treatment.

Please disclose any known medical conditions, contagious illnesses, parasites, recent surgeries, injuries, or mobility limitations on the intake form before your appointment.

If we arrive and discover fleas, mites, ear canker, vent disease, an open or infected wound, flystrike, or another condition that appears contagious or requires prompt veterinary attention, we will need to cancel the grooming appointment and recommend veterinary care.

We may also stop a grooming session if we discover a condition that could be worsened by continued handling or grooming.

After the Grooming

Before we leave, we will:

• Gather loose fur, nail clippings, and other grooming debris
• Leave the work area clean and orderly
• Review what was completed
• Share observations that may be helpful
• Answer your grooming and routine-care questions
• Let you know if we noticed anything worth discussing with your rabbit’s veterinarian

Our observations are not a medical diagnosis, but they may help you notice changes that deserve closer attention.

Keeping our service area focused helps us minimize travel time, provide timely appointments, and give each rabbit the calm, unrushed attention they deserve.
